About BrainHi
AI with purpose, born from the hurricane.
A story about healthcare access, engineering, and the belief that technology should reach everyone.
The origin
Born in the eye of a hurricane
BrainHi was born out of necessity. When Hurricane María devastated Puerto Rico, it left behind a fragile healthcare system with the highest rate of medically disenfranchised patients in the U.S., fewer providers, limited access, and growing emigration. Out of this crisis came a vision: to use AI to close gaps in care and expand access for every patient, everywhere.
From crisis came an idea: use AI so no patient is ever left unanswered.
